Tattoo of a lily right below the back of my shoulder blade. good place and idea or not?

I%26#039;m thinking of getting a small tattoo of a lily on my back right below my shoulder blade. I%26#039;m getting a picture of a lily because that%26#039;s my favorite flower and I love it. plus, if I ever have a little girl I will name her that because I just adore that name. so, good idea? Thanks!

P.S. this is my first tattoo.

Here%26#039;s the basic question to ask yourself when considering a tattoo and its location: How will this look when I%26#039;m 65 yrs. old?

Will my wrinkled (or crippled) back make the lily look like a swastika or Sponge Bob??

Lily is a beautiful name. It would be far better to carry on that beauty with a daughter%26#039;s name, not a tattoo.
Reply:as long as you think you%26#039;ll cherish it for the rest of your life since tattoos are forever...........unless you want to laser it off which is twice as painful.
Reply:sexy if nothing else
Reply:sounds good to me!

i just got my 1st tattoo on the 13th of dec in memory of a friend that died...that would have been her birthday. i got a white dove with a red leaf in its mouth cuz red was her fav color
Reply:nice idea

great spot.

with the right top in the summer it will look awesome

don%26#039;t get to many tattoos because then no one notices the ones you like. I have one...maybe some day a second...never more.
Reply:It%26#039;s your choice, but,

make sure you go to a reputable place to get it done.. ( health risks )

and you better be sure about wanting this tattoo.. or its costly getting it removed, so think through it first
Reply:just remember old people dont look good with tattoos , try to envision what you may look like when older.
Reply:i prefer symmetry. so i would get it on the spine. but that%26#039;s just me. the back is a beautiful canvas.
